Students put Newton ’s Laws of Motion in practice by designing, building, and launching bottle rockets. An altitude tracker and calculator are used to measure the height of their rocket flights. Each group is required to supply their own 2 litre plastic pop bottles (one per student pair) and should be prepared to launch rockets outside, rain or shine.

Your class will take an exciting journey to save the inhabitants of a Martian colony threatened by meteor storms and an energy blackout, late in the 21 st century.
Note: For younger students, it can be run at 50% intensity.
